Size Guides
Below you will find the size body measurements and international conversion guides used by many of the brands that we stock in our store. The fit of a garment may vary depending on the cut, style and fabric therefore the information below should be used as guidance only.
How to Measure
A - Chest: Use a flexible measuring tape and measure the circumference under the arms around body over the fullest part of the bust, while wearing a correct fitting bra. Make sure the measuring tape is parallel with the floor all the way around.
B - Under Bust (Bra): Take a snug measurement around your body just under the bust on your rib cage. This is an important measurement as if offers almost 80% of the support to your bust.
C - Waist: Measure circumference around your natural waistline. Your waistline is the narrowest/slimmest part of torso (see illustration). Note: Waist measurement is a reference measurement. So make sure to measure at the point where torso is slimmest, and NOT where you want your pants to sit (this is a usual mistake). Still not sure where you waistline is? Stand in front of a mirror, and bend to one side. Your waistline is simply where you can see a natural indentation in your torso on this side.
D - Hips: Measure the circumference of your seat at fullest part of your hips. Standing with your feet together, measure the widest part of your hips, about 20cm (8") below your natural waistline.
E - Inside Leg Length (Inseam): Measure from your crotch to your ankle (where you want your jeans leg to end). Ask a friend for help measuring! If you already own a pair of perfect fitting jeans, simply do your measurement on those jeans. Start at the crotch seam and measure to the bottom of the pant leg.

How to Measure
To find out your shoe size, follow the instructions below to measure your foot, and then use the charts below to find the appropriate size conversions.
1. Get a ruler, pen, and piece of paper.
2. Place the piece of paper flat on the ground and stand on it. Make sure your foot is flat.
3. Make a mark behind your heel and another in front of your longest toe. If one of your feet is larger than the other, use the longer foot to measure your size.
4. Measure the distance between the two lines in centimetres.
5. Alternatively stand against a wall, heels touching the wall. Put an object (e.g. book) against your longest toe. Measure the length between the wall and the object. Repeat this process for the other foot.
If the lengths are different, choose the largest.
6. Find your measurement on our size measurement chart below to determine your correct size. If your measurement falls in between two sizes, round up.

How to Measure
A - Shoulder: Using a flexible tape measure your shoulder width from the outside edge of the left shoulder (basically where the sleeve of your shirt starts), to the outside edge of the right shoulder. The tape shouldn't be perfectly straight, but it should follow the natural curve of your back, touching the most prominent bone below your neck.
B - Chest: Using a flexible measuring tape measure the circumference around your chest at the fullest part, under your arms. Make sure to keep the measuring tape parallel with the floor all way around.
C - Waist: Using a flexible measuring tape, measure the circumference around your natural waistline ensuring to keep your tape taut. Your natural waistline is the narrowest / slimmest part of your torso see illustration above. Suit Fit Guide
Throughout our store you will see various different terms used to describe the fit of a suit or jacket. A suit can be made in various ways to be adapted in a simple way to different body shapes and characteristics. To help you understand what these mean and the effect in how the suit or jacket will look and feel when you put it on we have provided brief explanations below. Select the term to learn more.
Classic fit with extra width on chest, shoulders, body. Trousers are generous. Comfortable and everyday. Regular fit suits are perfect if you prefer an easy fit with plenty of room. The suit is cut with a slightly broader fit through the shoulders and has straight arms and legs, i.e. they are generally not tapered. The jacket and waistcoat are comfort shaped through the waist while the trousers are lose through the thigh and seat and hang smoothly to your shoe.
Contemporary cut for an elegant silhouette. Narrower waist and tapered trouser leg. Refined and flattering. Tailored suits offer a finely balanced fit that follow the traditional rules of highly skilled men's tailoring. The suit is cut to define your shoulders, arms, chest and thighs but leave enough room so can move around in comfort. The jacket and waistcoat are narrower through the waist while the trousers are defined through the hips and seat with a tapered leg.
Stylish and modern. Closer-fitting jacket around the chest, waist and arms. Trouser is slimmer through the leg. Slim is a narrow fit, precisely cut for a pin-sharp silhouette. It’s snug through the shoulders, chest, arms and thighs. The jacket and waistcoat are fitted through the waist while trousers are neat through the seat and taper towards the ankle to skim the top of your shoe. If you are most used to a regular comfort fit or buying a slim fit for the first time you might want to consider purchasing a size up for more comfort.
Fashionable. The closest fit with slimmer lapels and shorter-length jacket. Trouser is slim through the leg and hem. The jacket is skinny through the shoulder, waist and chest and is shorter in length than other styles. Trousers are tailored to be skinny through the length and fall on top of the shoe. The skinny fit is most flattering on slim men.
So first off what is a suit drop? Simply put when buying a full suit set (i.e. jacket and pants together) the drop is the difference between the jacket chest size and the trousers waist size. A drop 6 is the standard suit drop used by brands in most traditional regular fit and modern tailored fit suits. it means the pants waist size is normally 6 inches less than the Suit jacket size e.g. a size UK36 suit jacket comes with a size 30 pants.
This is a cut that is relatively straight in shape, it means that your chest and waist hold a more rectangular shape and there's a six inch difference between the size of both.
So first off what is a suit drop? Simply put when buying a full suit set (i.e. jacket and pants together) the drop is the difference between the jacket chest size and the trousers waist size. A drop 7 is often favoured by Italian brands who prefer a slim cut with a 7 inch drop. it means the pants waist size is normally 7 inches less than the Suit jacket size e.g. a size UK36 suit jacket comes with a size 29 pants.
This cut has more of a difference between the chest width and the waist width, so while you’re not overly broad, you’re not a completely straight torso man. Drop 7 suits have a seven inch difference between the chest and the waist and when sold as a set, are often slim cut. Therefore if you prefer a looser more comfort fit you might consider purchasing a size higher than your normal size (e.g. if you have a 30 waist you might consider purchasing an IT48 (IRE/UK38) size suit for a more comfortable fit) as your normal size may be slightly snug in the jacket.
So first off what is a suit drop? Simply put when buying a full suit set (i.e. jacket and pants together) the drop is the difference between the jacket chest size and the trousers waist size. A drop 8 suit would suit you if you are a fairly athletic man with a narrow waist compared to your chest. it means the pants waist size is normally 8 inches less than the suit jacket size e.g. a size UK36 suit jacket comes with a size 28 pants.
Drop 8 is a broad fit in the chest and a narrower fit in the waist. This means there’s an eight inch difference between the chest and the waist. If you have broad shoulders and a smaller waist, this is the best fit for you

How to Measure
A - Collar (Neck): Using a flexible measuring tape measure around the base of your neck where your collar would normally sit.
If you are still uncertain where your waistline is stand in front of a mirror and bend to one side, the point at which your torso has an indentation.
D - Arm Length: You may need to ask a friend or family member for help with this one. To measure your arm length bend your arm 90 degrees and place it on your hip. Measure from the top of your shoulder to your elbow and down to your wrist.
